Although many schools in the Netherlands have purchased adaptive learning systems (ALSs) to reduce workload and improve differentiated instruction, use of ALSs with teacher dashboards classroom does not itself necessarily instruction. The question is, what skills knowledge do teachers need provide instruction help how this differ from a context which such technologies are used? By means cognitive task analysis, consisting observations, interviews, several expert meetings, teachers' skills, necessary for providing when using were disentangled. These findings compared needed by without these tools. Results show that can support up-to-date information about students' progress.
